Compile the knowledge sources

Build the retrieval corpus from primary and secondary veterans benefits authority. Binding law is indexed as governing; courts and boards are indexed for persuasive value with their weight labeled.

Corpus builder

Ingests, chunks, and embeds each source set; writes a citation index keyed to section and paragraph.

Vector search

Finds passages by concept, not keyword. A plain-language theory of the case retrieves the authorities that govern it — along with the symptoms, residuals, and synonyms a literal search would miss.

Concept similarity

Embeds the query and returns the nearest passages in the corpus, governing authority ranked first.

Citation & case search

Direct lookup of a statute or regulation by number, or retrieval of a decision by case name, legal principle, or holding — the exact governing text, with its cross-references.

Authority lookup

Pulls the controlling section verbatim, or the case on point, keyed to the citation index.

Claim analysis

Reads a denial packet — rating decision, C&P exams, private opinions, nexus letters, service treatment records — then extracts the issues denied, the denial rationale, the authorities on point, the evidence gaps, and drafts argument language.

Denial packet reader

Maps each denied issue to its governing USC, CFR, M21-1, and CAVC authority, then surfaces what the record is missing.
